Information collected by this site

Useful Work Tools does not currently ask visitors to create an account, enter an email address, submit a form, make a payment, or provide personal information directly on the site.

We do not install advertising pixels or run advertising cookies. We do use Google Analytics, which is described in the next section.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-71C3QTR85H) to understand which guides get read and which links get used, so we can decide what to improve. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes information such as the pages viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and the site you arrived from. Google processes that data under its own terms and privacy documentation.

We look at this data in aggregate. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information through this site, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

Nothing you type on this site is sent to Google. The Browse AI credits calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are never transmitted, never stored, and are never included in any analytics event.

Alongside Google’s standard measurement we record two custom events. affiliate_cta_click fires when an affiliate link is clicked, and records the affiliate name, the page path, the link URL, the link’s visible label, and a fixed slot identifier. calculator_use fires the first time the credits calculator is used during a visit, and records only the calculator’s name and the page path. Neither event carries anything you entered.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site by installing Google’s browser add-on, and most browsers offer additional controls for cookies and tracking. Blocking analytics does not affect any feature of this site, including the calculator.

Hosting and external services

This site is hosted by GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as IP addresses, request details, and browser information, under GitHub’s own policies.

Links may take you to third-party websites. Those services control their own data practices, and their privacy policies apply once you visit them. The public contact method uses GitHub Issues; anything posted there is public and subject to GitHub’s terms and privacy practices.

Affiliate links

Affiliate links may be added in the future. An affiliate network or merchant may use referral parameters, cookies, or similar technologies to attribute a qualifying action. We will identify affiliate relationships and update this notice if our own site practices materially change.

Changes to this policy

If we introduce analytics, forms, advertising, newsletters, or other data-collecting features, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected, why, and the choices available to visitors.
